Lovesores
Yet another reason why Portland, Oregon is currently THE place to be for new music. The Lovesores have constructed a rock and roll machine that is the equal to any on the planet. Created by the combined talents of Jeff Fieldhouse and Scott «Deluxe» Drake (the original songwriting and guitar/vocal team of the 90’s SoCal garage/punk juggernaut, The Humpers), Boz Bennes and Adam Kattau (members of Portland’s own legendary Fast Takers) and Alex Fast (bassist for Portland’s heavy rock champions, LSD&D), the «Lovesores» have become, after only three years, one of the premier high-energy rock and roll bands in the Pacific Northwest and are quickly generating excitement and building an enthusiastic fanbase internationally.
Four tracks on 10" vinyl is what‘s on offer and if you ever loved the «Humpers» then you know this is gonna turn out right. With their 5 smoking hot vinyl releases, the «Lovesores» have found the sweet (and sweaty) spot where Rock, Garage and Punk collide in an orgy of guitar-driven ENERGY.
With upcoming high-profile shows all over the USA and Europe in March 2015, the «Lovesores» are poised to make a very LOUD impact in the music world.

«These guys bring all of the fun and fury of nineties-era garage-punk back from the grave (trust me, it was dead), playing a slew of songs that make you feel like driving fast with the windows open, seats jammed with buddies who are on the lookout for some trouble.»
Faster and Louder
I know: that's some mighty big talk considering that The Humpers were one of the greatest bands of their era or any other. But as they say, the proof is in the pudding. Listen for yourself if you don't believe me!

I got my paws on the latest side from THE LOVESORES, Portland Oregon’s own fun-junkie rocknroll savior machine. A lot has happened since the belligerent HUMPERS first stormed the sticky pubs, ruling the early nineties with their energy charged, catchy, melodic, Ramones stoopid but never dumb, good times all the time, drunk-rock, that was one of the few redeeming features of that fucking otherwise excruciatingly, insufferably, awful “grunge era”. To many of us tired old bastards, the Humpers, Lazy Cowgirls, Nomads, Pleasure Fuckers, Mummies, and Electric Frankenstein represented the last surge of real vital punknroll, the last generation of boogaloo dudes who really knew how to rock like fuck. All that fake-indie college rock and alternahunk bullshit, whiteboy rappers, grunge, Capitalist-rap, corporate pop-punk…that shit just made you wanna turn the radio OFF, permanently.
